“Get out of your mind and into your life”.

This quote from Steven Hayes reflects the focus of my practice. I am committed to helping people onto a path of living life to their fullest potential.

As a registered psychologist, I work from a positive psychology perspective, helping people who want to understand and work through challenges that are currently keeping them from experiencing positive relationships, meaning, and purpose. I work collaboratively with people to develop an approach to counselling that works for them. We can draw from acceptance and commitment therapy as well as other therapies, such as narrative, solution-focused, cognitive behavioural, dialectical behaviour therapy as well a EMDR. Mindfulness and yoga may also be explored as complements to therapy.

I have 11 years of experience, working with people through a number of transitions, such as relationships, career, and life stage. My practice is LGBTQ friendly. As a person with fibromyalgia, I can also offer support in living with pain. A small part of my practice also involves supporting people on the Autism Spectrum who personally identify with the label of Asperger Syndrome or Autism Spectrum Disorder – level one. I also conduct psychoeducational assessments.
