Hi there! I’m Elizabeth, a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology student at Yorkville University, completing my practicum here at Reframed Psychological. I have spent seven years as an Educational Assistant supporting children and youth with diverse learning and developmental needs. That experience shaped how I view people:
everyone brings incredible strengths into the room, and no two stories are the same. I hold immense respect for where you’ve come from, what you’ve lived through, and how those experiences have made you into who you are today.
If you work with me, you’ll find someone with a lively, strong presence—I’m naturally passionate about advocacy! But along with that energy, I bring sincere warmth, compassion, and a completely welcoming space for you to feel safe and supported. Having been in the client’s seat myself, I truly understand how much courage it takes to show up and do this meaningful work. I’m not here to lecture or pretend to have all the answers; rather, I want to be a dependable supporter by your side, sitting with you through the tough times, celebrating your insights, and walking alongside you toward the goals that truly matter to you.
At its core, my approach is trauma-informed and person-centred. I hold the view that how we cope is closely linked to what we’ve lived through. Under clinical supervision, I integrate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) with elements of CBT and Solution-Focused techniques.
Three things about me:
- I have a sweet tooth for chocolate and love coffee.
- In my free time, I’ll either be watching TV while building a puzzle or outside going
on a leisurely walk. - I was originally accepted into university for a degree in Kinesiology.
