I am a registered provisional psychologist, and I recently completed my PhD in the School and Clinical Child Psychology Program (SCCP) at the University of Alberta.
My training and employment to date has allowed me to build a strong skillset and develop a deep appreciation for intervention, assessment, and consultation working with children, adolescents, and families with multifaceted needs. I work towards practicing ethically, diligently, and compassionately in all my work.
I am particularly passionate about psychological and psychoeducational assessments. My strong interest in assessment was foundational in pursuing a graduate program which would allow me to actively engage in both research and training opportunities to build a strong skillset in this area.
I take a strengths-based, collaborative approach to assessment to empower clients and their families and support them in navigating pathways forward to healthy outcomes. I especially enjoy working with clients to identify their strengths and integrate them into recommendations and intervention planning!
A little bit about me:
- I am originally from Nova Scotia and miss the ocean, but I have fallen in love with the mountains!
- I love dogs, especially my three huskies
- You can usually find me camping during the summer months
