My journey as a helper began in the classroom. From a young age, I dreamed of becoming a teacher—to cheer on the next generation as they grow, stumble, learn, and shine. Over time, my path shifted from whiteboards to well-being. While working as both a teacher and high school counsellor, I saw many students (and their families) carrying invisible backpacks—not full of textbooks, but of stress, anxiety, grief, and other emotional burdens.

Witnessing their struggles sparked a deeper calling in me. So, I followed my heart and earned a Master’s in Counselling Psychology. Now, I’m a Registered Provisional Psychologist in Alberta, and I have the absolute privilege of walking alongside clients as they navigate life’s ups, downs, and everything in between. Today, I work with children (7–11), teens (12–17), young adults, and families facing a range of challenges—including anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, emotional dysregulation, identity exploration, relationship dynamics, men’s issues, and LGBTQ2+ topics. Whether the storm is big or small, I believe everyone deserves a safe, soft space to land.

My approach is client-centered and grounded in compassion. I believe therapy isn’t about “fixing,” but about understanding—unpacking your story, discovering your strengths, and building tools to help you move forward with more confidence, clarity, and calm. I draw from evidence-based modalities like Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), all through an attachment-focused lens. When working with kids, I use play therapy—because play isn’t just fun, it’s how children make sense of their world (and honestly, we could all use a little more play).

Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply in need of someone to talk to—I’m here. Together, we can make space for healing, growth, and maybe even a laugh or two along the way.
